On a DVD disc, DVD movie files are stored in the VIDEO_TS folder. VIDEO_TS is a UDF file name used for video directory on DVD disc volume, which holds the IFO, VOB, and BUP files that a DVD player needs to play your DVDs. There is also an AUDIO_TS folder, this is where DVD-Audio would be stored, but usually the folder is empty.The TS stands for "title set" and is part of DVD structure. The VIDEO_TS folder will hold all the pertinent information such as Informaton (IFO) and backup (BUP) files that are necessary for the DVD to even be read. You can easily copy DVD movies to VIDEO_TS on Mac with just few steps by DVD Copy Pro for Mac.
Step 1: Open DVD Copy Pro and Insert DVD

Step 2: Select VIDEO_TS in the Output Options
Select VIDEO_TS in the Output Options. You can also choose D9 to D5 compression if you want to copy your D9 movie to D5 disc.

Step 3: Start Burning
After setting, click the "Start" and choose where you want to save your VIDEO_TS folder on your Mac. After you finish above steps, burning will begin. The program will keep informing you the progress of copying. You can hide the interface and do other things first. You can still check the progress bar in the small icon.

After burning, you can check your DVD information on the copied DVD folder! And then you also watch your Video_ts folder on Mac with Front Row or VLC Player
